Moreover, many compounds, getting into the soil, as a result of chemical and microbiological reactions can become more toxic than the original ones. Due to soil pollution, water, air, food products and other elements of the biosphere can be contaminated with carcinogenic and radioactive substances. As a result, it is necessary to regularly monitor the soil.

Monitoring the condition of the soil is necessary for continuous observation of its chemical pollution and condition; ensures the collection, transmission and processing of the received information for the purpose of timely detection of negative processes, forecasting their development, preventing harmful consequences and determining the degree of effectiveness of the implemented environmental protection measures.
